With a fast establishing Wind Energy Sector in South Africa it has been decided that this year’s theme is “Power2thePeople”. The aim of the programme is to focus on the socio economic challenges faced by the sector as well as the benefits of wind power to the greater South Africa and its communities – within the context of wind farms that are now commissioned and providing electricity.

The three day programme will again provide a platform to discuss all the other very relevant topics including finance and the regulatory framework whilst also addressing issues such as sectoral challenges  such as grid connections and environmental matters.

All interested parties are thus invited to submit  abstracts via email to [email protected] by 15 May 2014.

Kindly ensure that you include the following in your abstract submission: Name of Presenter, Credentials, Title of Abstract, A Brief summary 500 words or less and/or Presentation itself. Decision on acceptance will be corresponded to email address via which submission was made only. Confirmation of receipt will be made within 3 days of submission. Alternatively you can also submit your abstract via the Windaba website.
