TroFCCA: Tropical Forests and Climate Change Adaptation
11-04-2013
Good practice resource
The TroFCCA project was designed with a two-fold objective: to understand current and future climate change impacts on forests, and to examine the role of forests for the adaptation of people.
TroFCCA was implemented from March 2005 to December 2009 in selected countries of Central America, South-East Asia and West Africa. The project contributed to national processes of climate change adaptation through policy-relevant research and stakeholder dialogue. Activities were implemented together with the Tropical Agriculture Center for Research and Higher Education and the World Agroforestry Center, and were funded by the EU.
