How to share content

  • I want to share information about my project. What do I have to do?

If you want to share your project with the portal, first of all you have to be a registered user. Sign up to the portal and Propose a Project on the right hand side on the page. The description should include the objectives of the project, expected results, start and end times, and contact details. The Project can be classified according to the main topics of African Climate, like Adaptation, Mitigation, Future Climate Scenarios, etc. Please also include the website address and a logo if the project has these.

  • I want to share information about a research publication (an article, a report, etc.). What do I have to do?

If you want to share your research publication with the portal, first of all you have to be a registered user. Sign up to portal and Propose a Publication on the right hand side on the page. You will have to select the option "Research"  when the section is requiered in the webform. The publication content should include the abstract of the publication, country, description and author details. You can also include links to related contents or even add attached documents. Minor details such us number of pages, year of publication, ISBN etc. are also available.

  • I want to share information about a published policy publication (an article, a report, etc.). What do I have to do?

If you want to share your policy publication with the portal, first of all you have to be a registered user. Sign up to portal and Propose a Publication on the right hand side on the page. You will have to select the option "Policy"  when the section is requiered in the webform. The rest of the options are just the same as in the previously mentioned publication content.

  • I’m looking for information about financing opportunities for my project. What should I do?

Please have a look at the information in the Financing Section of the portal.

  • What is an online group?

An online Group is a web space where users from different backgrounds, geographical locations and time zones have the opportunity to interact and exchange information and resources about a specific subject of interest.

  • Why are online groups important?

Online Groups are the best public space for sharing examples of good practice. They offer the most appropriate virtual space to obtain an answer to African Climate issues. They are easy to use and open to everyone.

They offer global coverage regardless of geographical boundaries and time zones.

  • Can I share resources I find on this site with others?

We will soon be integrating website functions to help you share web pages with people who are not registered on the site. In the meantime, we encourage you to share the information and resources found on the site with users via email or other communication channels.

  • I have lost my password and cannot login. How do I recover my password?

    Should you lose your password, please click here and type in the e-mail address with which you registered. After a moment, you will receive a new password and you can login. You may then choose your own password once you have accessed your user profile. Please remember that you can customise your password from your profile page.
