Smallholder farmers rural radio

The Smallholders Farmers Rural Radio (FARM 98.0 FM) designs and broadcasts daily agricultural, environmental management and market information in the local Igbo Language, reaching an estimated 250,000 small farmer listeners living in Imo State, Nigeria for 10 hours broadcast each day.

The educational radio program enables, smallholders acquire: contemporary agricultural and environmental management techniques, receive daily market information, advertise their farm products and learn critical business skills. Smallholders utilizes daily broadcast information to decide what to produce when to produce how to produce for whom to produce In the short and long term they boost, their yields and income.
