Africa Turns Green

There is a real spirit of entrepreneurship in Africa despite the political, social and climatic challenges facing the continent. Every year, new sustainable businesses are set up, providing much needed jobs and boosting local economies. One of the key difficulties is that many eco-entrepreneurs live in remote locations and don’t have access to help and advice from other businesses. This is where Africa Turns Green can help. It aims to create a pan-African business support network for environmentally-friendly companies.

The charity was founded in Belgium in 2011 and showcases environmental entrepreneurs in Africa.

Our aim is to highlight their achievements through global media coverage, conferences and its interactive website. We have produced a series of multimedia reports, measuring the social and economic impact of each of these green businesses.
